One of the two main types of water coolers are bottled or bottleless. Basically, the bottled-type is your usual arrowhead or sparklett of whatever brand that delivers their 5 gallon water bottle to the office, and puts it on your rented (or owned) water cooler base.

The bottleless type is the kind that uses a professional filter, and your tap water as water source to supply water to the cooler.
